This website commemorates the life of Derek Francis who died in a traffic accident in Devon, UK on 21 June 2010. Derek died with his partner Analiza Presto whilst on holiday in the UK.

Derek's Funeral and Cremation service was held in Barnstaple, UK on 8 July 2010.  Analiza returned to her family in the Philippines for a separate funeral and burial in keeping with their religion.

Derek's Memorial Gathering was held in Hong Kong on 21 July 2010 and Analiza's service was held in the Philippines on 22 July 2010.

In June 2011, a Remembrance section was added for family and friends to post messages rather than on his Facebook page. The latest of these messages are shown on the left.

In October 2011, a short poignant video and text of a famous speech entitled 'What will Matter' by Michael Josephson was placed in the Remembering/What will Matter section in memory of Derek.
